Environmental Sustainability

STYL Residential is committed to the environment. Every commitment STYL Residential makes to our environmental sustainability initiatives is embedded deep into the decisions we make at every level of our business. In 2020 STYL Residential established an ESG Committee aimed at improving operational efficiencies through unit renovations and common area upgrades. To date, this committee has made global commitments to resource conservation, waste reduction and management. 

Our operations and analyst teams collaborate annually to find opportunities for carbon, energy, water, and cost savings. Our property and investment management teams work to reduce waste from landfills through improved waste streams, tenant engagement, and external partnerships. In partnership with Paper Water Bottle, STYL Residential has reduced plastic consumption in every market a STYL Property is located. (10k water bottles)

Social Responsibility

STYL Residential leaders understand that social responsibility can only be achieved by first committing to continued education and self-reporting. Every professional in our organization is encouraged and supported with resources to research social responsibility-focused studies and deploy initiatives that can be carefully monitored for their impact. Our Diversity & Inclusion Committee advocates for increased diversity within our firm and communities with a focus on inclusion, health, and wellbeing, and active community involvement.

Governance

By incorporating ESG considerations throughout an asset’s lifecycle, we can more effectively manage risk and find additional value. Our culture of inclusivity ensures equal employment opportunities across all departments. Our proprietary technology platform uniquely positions us to track and report to our investment partners with great precision and detail and at a much higher frequency. Our teams are expected to participate in continued education related to best practices in governance and our teams are incentivized to exceed expectations set as the industry baseline.
